Hi Juan,
I think that this error has something to do with setting the memory limits on the IBM machines with XLF.
Check that when you compile and link the program you are setting the limits correctly by using the "-bmaxdata" and "-bmaxstack" flags. I think that there is a page devoted to this at the NERSC website.

Hi all,
I have been trying to compile abinit (serial & parallel) version in Sp3/Sp5 clusters. In particular this clusters are Seaborg and Bassi from the NERSC (LBNL). I went through the tutorial and after doing some tweaking I was able to compile abinit in Seaborg, with not erros whatsoever. However when trying to run a simple test (the tutorial t11) I got the following error:
1525-108 Error encountered while attempting to allocate a data object. The program will stop.
Help please! I am stucked with this problem for more than two week and I need to keep going.
If you have any advice, I will be more than thankful,
Thank you,
Juan
