Hi,
There is hardly anything wecan do.
On our own machines (sp3-II (AIX) and sp5 (linux) ) abinit passes
correctly the tests.
Have you tryed to tweak the compilation options of abinit (for
instance something like "../configure FC=xlf90 FCFLAGS=-O2") ?
You can also tryed an home made compiler (gfortran/gcc or g95) both
are known to work pretty well with Abinit. (PS: for parallel build you
will also need to build your own mpi libraries but this must not be a
problem)

PMA

Hi all,

I have been trying to compile abinit (serial & parallel) version in Sp3/Sp5
clusters. In particular this clusters are Seaborg and Bassi from the NERSC
(LBNL). I went through the tutorial and after doing some tweaking I was able to
compile abinit in Seaborg, with not erros whatsoever. However when trying to run
a simple test (the tutorial t11) I got the following error:

1525-108 Error encountered while attempting to allocate a data object. The
program will stop.

Help please! I am stucked with this problem for more than two week and I
need to keep going.

If you have any advice, I will be more than thankful,

Thank you,

Juan
