Your problem comes from mixing 32- and 64-bit libraries. Could you retry to build ABINIT with the "--enable-64bit-flag" option of "configure"?

I don't remember exactly what is the status of the Sun compiler support in 5.2.4. If your problem persists, I suggest you wait a few days until ABINIT 5.3.3 is released. And if it still doesn't work with 5.3.3, please let me know.

N.B.: In all cases you should use GNU Make.
