I'm currently writing the documentation of MPI support within the build system.

To have "abinip" built, you need to specify a path where a valid installation of MPI can be found, through the "--with-mpi-prefix=<PATH>" option. At the end, you'll find "abinip" in "src/main/".

Please not that "configure" will look for libraries in "<PATH>/lib/" and for "mpif90" in "<PATH>/bin/".
