Hello again,
an update on my abinip bug (still there for 5.3.4). It appears mpienreg%paralbd is set (automatically, not me!) to 0 for the ground state and 1 for the linear response.
Apart from that, it looks like my bug (crashing after writing the 1WF at the end of a linear response convergence) is due/linked to the use of -nolocal in mpirun!!! Without it everything runs fine running the first instance from the mother node. Running from another node hangs or goes very slow.
In short, it may be a bad configuration of our cluster, or nfs or something. I'm still intrigued by the paralbd though.
Matthieu
PS: MacOSX G5 dual proc + 1Gb/proc IBM xlf90 compiler.
