Hi,

Simon Dubois (behind me) is telling me that this is possible: you may be able to calculate anisotropic conductivity with Abinit using existing tools.
And Tonatiuh Rangel indicate that Vanina Recoules is the author of the document that describes the utility "conducti" of Abinit. This utility is the one you may want to use to perform your computaiton.
You'll find the corresponding documentation in Abinit "doc/users" .

I would like to mention that it would be better to use an accurate title for you post. Presently, "about for ecut" is not really describing what you wanted to ask and MOST people knowing about conductivity calculation might have missed your question.

Best regards,

PMA

Dear all,

i am wondering if it is possible to calculate anisotropic conductivity
(with ABINIT) in a layered sructure (the conductivity in planes and
perpendicular to planes, or the ratio between them).
i am told that i need to calculate the conductivity matrix, but i have
no idea how to..
or even if it is possible with current ABINIT.

thanks in advance,
