Transition dipole moment

Dear ABINIT-user,

Since abinit can calculate the dielectric function, I believe it can also calculate the transition matrix elements between every two orbitals. How can I do that?

Also, if I calculate the transition matrix element of a periodic solid (gamma point), what is the physical meaning of this value?
