Hi,
The best is to avoid using an obsolete version of Abinit. Not only
because of potential bugs solved in next versions remains but also
because the compilation process is much simpler
If you insist on building such an old version, most compilers should
work. Indeed, already at this stage Abinit was regularly built with
most fortran compilers on the market. However, whatever the one you
choose, you have to tune the compilation process for every special
things your compiler wants (correct extensions of files, flags to make
your compiler understand the extension sued correctly, pre processing
with a CPP, ...). This may be long and not so easy.
