I have runned Make tests_acc. Yet tests_acc and test_acc4 shall not make any difference  with respect to success or failing of tests as long as you run only one of them  (If you run the tests twice the same day a few Gw tests will fail).
If you want to check faster effect of various parameter you can run "make tests_v4 start=08" and "make tests_V5 start=11"  in order to check only your two failing tests.

Had you run "make tests_acc" or "make tests_acc4" yourself?

BTW, it turns out that I do have a gcc 4.2.1 to go with my gfortran 4.2.1. It's just that the gcc 4.2.1 binary is called "gcc-4.2" while the command "gcc" is a symlink to gcc-4.1. For some reason, this is the default setup in Ubuntu. Go figure.
