I want to compile abinit-5.5.3 on sun solaris 9.0, i have compile it according to the steps below;

> tar zxf abinit-5.5.3.tar.gz
> cd abinit-5.5.3
> mkdir tmp
> cd tmp
> ../configure FCFLAGS="-O1 -M. -M../../../src/defs -M../.. -M../defs"
> cp ../src/defs/dummy_functions.inc src/defs/.
> make multi.
> but when the last step is executed, the errors appear as followed:
> checking for Fortran compiler default output file name... a.out
> checking whether the Fortran compiler works... configure: error:
 cannot run
> Fortran compiled programs.
> If you meant to cross compile, use `--host'.
> See `config.log' for more details.
> *** Error code 1
> make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `configure-stamp'
> Current working directory /zzy/abinit-5.5.3/tmp/lib/bigdft
> *** Error code 1
> make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `libbigdft.a'
> Current working directory /zzy/abinit-5.5.3/tmp/lib/bigdft
> *** Error code 1
> make: Fatal error: Command failed for target `multi'.
> Please tell me how to compile it? Thank youver much.
