- Subject: [abinit-forum] Distinguish between T1u and T2u in O_h
- Date: Tue, 06 Jan 2009 14:23:19 -0500
Hi,
I am looking at symmetries of phonons at gamma. Since T1u (gamma15) and T2u (gamma25) modes in O_h have the same number of different terms in the character table (same number of '0s' and '1's' etc.) how do I distinguish between them? Is there any way I can write out to what symmetry operation the particular character belongs to ?
Thanks,
Ganesh
