Konichiwa from Japan,
I have been a long time user of Materials Studio and I am now find myself using abinit more and more. I am very much intrigued by your efforts to make V_SIM and want to give it a try on the Mac. I am using the production version of abinit 5.8.4p with the most recent intel fortran compiler. I can compile abinit just fine with this approach. I note that you require the libabinis.a library to be built and it mentions in the readme file there that
"To compile with other compilers, one need to change src/ bindings/ab_dtset_c.c
and modify the FC_MOD_NAME macro to the adequat naming scheme of the compiler."
There appears to be no ab_dtset_c.c source included in the abinit distribution (although there was for several of the earlier versions of abinit I have on my disk). How does one go about generating the requirements for the plugin?
Thanks for any help!
Paul
