Good. But I'm disappointed to tell that having no easy access to a Mac,
the support is not as good as I would like...

Thanks a lot to read the README and try to follow the instructions :))
Shame on me so having let the README of the 5.8 version in the status
of the one of version 5.7, which are incompatible version with respect
to the parser bindings.
I join the updated README of version 5.9.3 to this email, hopping that
it can help you. The main difference is the new ab6_symmetry_c.c file
that does not exist in 5.8.x and the fact that in 5.8.x the Fortran
sources are still in bindings/parser.
Besides, V_Sim 3.4 was written at times of ABINIT 5.7 and supports up
to this version. Later versions of ABINIT (including the 5.8.4) are
only supported since V_Sim 3.5 (which will be out tomorrow or at the
beginning of next week).
Besides again, for the parser point of view, ABINIT 5.7 is enough to
visualise most of the input files.
Hope it can help,
Damien.
