Dear all,

I have some troubles to install abinit 5.8.4 on Ubuntu 9.04 x64 with ifort 11.1.059, gcc and mpich.

The configuration parameter is as follows:

../configure --enable-mpi=yes --disable-all-plugins.

Then I tried to run "make check" after "make multi" in my build directory. The test stopped halfway and the terminal gave the error information:

Doing floating point compare of trf2_7.out with /home/lyon/Downloads/abinit-5.8.4/tmp/../tests/tutorespfn/Refs/trf2_7.out and option -easy
Prepare the short report
make[4]: Leaving directory `/home/lyon/Downloads/abinit-5.8.4/tmp/tests'
make[3]: Leaving directory `/home/lyon/Downloads/abinit-5.8.4/tmp/tests'
grep 'failed' */*/report >&2
make[2]: *** [check-local] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/lyon/Downloads/abinit-5.8.4/tmp/tests'
make[1]: *** [check-am] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/lyon/Downloads/abinit-5.8.4/tmp/tests'
make: *** [check-recursive] Error 1

Besides, in the build directory, the src directory is dirty, which consists of many directories starting with numbers. In the directory of "src/98_main/", I can find some executable files but without "abinip".

Any suggestion?

Best Regards,

Ren Hang
