Dear Addallah,

What version of gfortran are you using? It should be >= 4.2 for compiling Abinit.

Try to cd to the plugins/linalg ... directory and compile the offending routine without optimization i.e with gfortran -ffixed-form -g -O0 -c cgbrfsx.f
If it works, go back to the build directory and make again to go on.

Solaris 10 should be fine; it is only SunStudio that is cranky.
