First you must check that the file is there.
The error message seems to tell us that it is.
Then You have to check wether abinis has the execut bit unable.
If it has it you must get more error message in the stdout and stderr.
If not set it and run the test again.

I am trying to use Abinis for the first time. I have obtained the open-source g95 compilier and the pclinux_g95_seq- 4.6.5.tar file. After extracting the tar file I get the abinitbin_seq-4.6.5 folder that the installation notes suggest I should. When I try the first internal test by executing make test1, the test ends in failure, with the message:
sh: .../abinis: cannot execute binary file
Does anyone know what I'm missing to successfully create my executables?
