Dear Pierre-Matthieu and Xavier,

Thank you very much for your prompt responses, you saved me from insanity!
Changing to xcart (actually, I used xangst) solved the problem.

Remark to Pierre-Matthieu:
> rprim 1 0 0 0 1 0 0 0 1
> xred 3*0 3*0.5
That is correct, of corse, but in this case I have to set chkprim to zero, 
and could not get symmetry finder to to its work. The results, of course 
should be correct, but in my case I just wanted to see abinit detecting the 
217 space group.
