Hello Wang,

Some more debugging please. From the abinit src root, if you do a
"config/gnu/install-sh -d brol/brol2", doest it work i.e. brol
subdirectory and brol/brol2 subsubdirectory created? What's the output
of a "ls -la brol". Clean between each test with a "rm -rf brol". Does a
"mkdir -p brol/brol2" work? If it doesn't, where live your mkdir and
chmod binaries? All this without ""
Yann is probably right. The best clue for the error message you report
is a mkdir not detected as "gnu compliant" or mkdir/chmod binaries not
found.

Kind regards,

Alain
