I am running abinit 5.8.3 in parallel with mpich-1.2.6..13b on an IBM p590
machine with xlf95.

For some iterations the programme ran without problems, but then I got this:

Pulay update with 5 previous iterations:
mixing of old trial potential : alpha(m:m-4)= .771 .727 -.646
.205 -.124

ITER STEP NUMBER 7
vtorho : nnsclo_now= 1, note that nnsclo,dbl_nnsclo,istep= 0 0 7
"getghc_cpp.f90", line 69: 1525-108 Error encountered while attempting to
allocate a data object. The program will stop.
rm_l_1_13856: (10241.737804) net_send: could not write to fd=6, errno = 9
rm_l_1_13856: p4_error: net_send write: -1
p4_error: latest msg from perror: Bad file descriptor

p4_error looks like it has something to do with mpich. Can someone tell me
how to fix this?
