Thanks for your suggestion! 
Should I use the option --with-fc-optflags or what else to lower the optimization level?

I don't know for the error 127 but your pgi compiler died before with a
segmentation fault - signal 11. Usual recipe: try to compile the
offending file with a lower optimization level.
