Hi,
I just downloaded the new 5.2.3 version of abinit precompiled for the
Linux-Itanium2 and, when running make test1, the following error
appears:

/bin/sh: line 1: Scripts/run-basic-tests.sh: No such file or directory

which is not surprising because, although Makefile asks to run the
aforesaid shelll script, the latter is not present in that directory, only a
python script "run-basic-tests.pl" exists there for such task. Maybe an
outdated Makefile has been included in the tar.gz file? Can someone
help?

Dear José,

I confirm that some files are missing from the binary packages :
all the binaries are present (opt and bin dirs), but the aim was also
to have all the testing capabilities in these binary packages ...
At present, only the developers have submitted ABINITv5 to heavy testing,
and seemingly, none of us checked carefully the binary packages,
only the source package.

This will be corrected in ABINITv5.2.4 .

Thanks for testing !
Xavier
