Move the binaries to the source package instead of the makefile to the
binary package...

Also this does not work. After doing configure in the source package, and
transferring the generated Makefile to the binary distribution directory
(which was renamed to nave the same name as that in which the Makefile
was created), make test1 gave this error:

make: *** No rule to make target `Makefile.am', needed by
`Makefile.in'. Stop.

If I transfer as well Makefile.am from the source directory, then other
files are demanded, and I am not able to solve the problem. Any help?

Of course I could (slowly) compile the package; but at the output of
configure I find the lines:

checking for a native MPI support... no
checking whether to build parallel code... no
(even though I set enable_mpi="yes" in the hostname.ac file)

so I'm afraid that generating abinip has difficulties. Since abinip file
appears in the precompiled binary distribution, I should like to use it.

Best regards,
