hi,

Your report look very strange to me.
I've just downloaded the source package to check.
It seems that I can't find any reference left to run-basic-tests.sh.
In the makefiles as well as in all scripts run-basic-tests.pl is
called !

In fact Damien Caliste pointed out that the makefiles in the binary
packages are corrupted. Just take the makefiles from the sources
ditribution (after issuing a configure).

Then in fact the simplest solution is probably to recompile from the sources.

regards

PMA

The script run-basic-tests.sh is also not present in the source
distribution. I could find it in the 5.1.4 distribution, but it does not
work (it claims that libifport.so.6 cannot be found).
Please help.
I should add that the precompiled binary includes (in opt directory) both
abinis and abinip files, although the web page says that only sequential
code is available in it. Is that abinip not to be used?
Best regards,
