  I have been hacking around trying to get abinit-5.2.4 running on a (new) supercomputer from Hitachi, a SR11000 (64 IBM Power 5 cpus) off and on and was wondering if someone else out there had already succeeded in such a task.  The task is a little complicated in that only batch jobs are allowed (e.g. I can't run configure from a terminal session).  Might the new build system of 5.3 be better for this system?
